Dubai-Dammam route gets boost with Emirates’ all-new Airbus A350
Three-class jet offers lie-flat Business seats and Premium Economy experience
DUBAI: Emirates has inaugurated scheduled A350 operations to Dammam, marking the eastern Saudi Arabian city as the airline’s first destination in the Kingdom to receive the state-of-the-art aircraft.
This deployment reinforces Emirates’ long-term commitment to the Saudi market, where it has been operating for over 30 years.
The new A350 service operates as flight EK 827, departing Dubai daily at 7:30am and arriving in Dammam at 7:50am. The return flight, EK 828, leaves Dammam at 9:20am and lands in Dubai at 11:45am. All times are local.
Upgraded travel experience
The Emirates A350 offers a modern three-class configuration, featuring 312 seats: 32 Business Class seats with lie-flat beds in a 1-2-1 layout, 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 layout, and 259 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 layout. Designed to elevate passenger comfort, the aircraft offers wider cabins, higher ceilings, quieter journeys, and improved seat ergonomics.
Passengers across all classes can enjoy Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system, enhanced cabin lighting, and high-speed Wi-Fi, making it ideal for both short and medium-haul routes.
Global A350 network
Dammam now joins an expanding list of global cities served by the Emirates A350, which includes Mumbai, Edinburgh, Bahrain, Colombo, Kuwait, Muscat, Tunis, Amman and Ahmedabad. To date, Emirates has inducted eight Airbus A350s into its fleet, with plans to increase that number and operate to 17 destinations by the end of 2025.
Emirates continues to serve four cities in Saudi Arabia – Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina, and Dammam – with multiple daily flights using a mix of A380s, Boeing 777s, and now the A350. Passengers from the Kingdom benefit from seamless connectivity via Dubai to over 140 destinations worldwide.
